A Message from South Gloucestershire Council

Update for our residents 24 August 2021

Over the last week, the world's focus has been on the plight of Afghans who worked alongside British Forces and we are playing our part to support those who are resettled here following the recent, dramatic changes in Afghanistan. Read our statement here.

With the August Bank Holiday approaching and many events happening across the area, some places may be busier than usual. Remember to have patience and continue to take simple measures to protect yourself and others, such as taking the vaccine, using freely available test kits and wearing face coverings.

Please do your bit to help local healthcare facilities manage a recent surge in demand. Think twice about the right service for your needs, using 111 online and pharmacies for minor ailments and plan ahead and pick up prescriptions early. For practical help and advice click here.
