Covid-19 vaccination: making an informed decision

About this Event

The Pfizer/BioNTech and Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines are now available and following rigorous testing, have been shown to be safe and offer high levels of protection.

But this is a newly developed vaccine, and it is understandable that individuals will have questions and will want to gather all available information to help them make an informed decision about getting vaccinated.

Covid vaccine: what we know

A free to attend online event for individuals from a BAME background, run by the South Gloucestershire Race Equality Network on Tuesday 26 January 2021, 5pm – 6pm

Some Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) groups have higher rates of infection, and higher rates of serious disease and mortality from Covid. To support individuals of Black, Asian and Dual heritage to make an informed decision, South Gloucestershire Race Equality Network are organising an event supported by South Gloucestershire Council and the at which local representatives from the NHS and Public Health will provide guidance and answer questions you have about the vaccine.
