South Gloucestershire Council - Covid 19 update

A Message from the Council

If you are double jabbed or aged under 18, as of yesterday (16 August) you are no longer legally required to self-isolate if identified as a close contact of a positive Covid-19 case. Instead, you should take a PCR test as soon as possible. You can find more details in the update below.

The case rate in South Gloucestershire remains above the all England rate and we continue to remind residents of the importance of regular testing and getting the vaccine. The NHS has extended the vaccination programme to 16 and 17-year-olds and arrangements are being made to make those available in our area, Follow our facebook and twitter pages for details and the latest information on local walk in clinics.
